gum_sum kyuu.N hai sanam (Kasme Vaade)
The song was actually composed and even filmed for 'Kasme Vaade', but eventually was left out from the movie. It was also included in the LP of the film. However, apparently it was too good a song to be left out from a movie. So it appeared on the screen in another movie that was
filmed around same the time and had the same team (Pancham-Bawra) working in it. The movie was called 'Bhala Manuush' and Ramesh Behl (prod/dir of 'Kasme Vaade') let the producer/director of that movie use the song. Both films starred the same pair so it must have been even easier. In the process, the song also travelled from one audio company to the other (MIL > HMV). There was a good detailed post on the Pancham group by Sandeep Kulkarni about the whole story (Check http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pancham/message/20328).
Regarding the song - don't bother about any opinion. Just get it from somewhere and listen to it, if you haven't so far. Mildly put, it's fabulous.
